I just want to point out that apart from some areas of Bangkok other tourists places including the beaches and islands in Thailand are just fine !
We have had no worries here at all in Phuket and the same goes for krabi, Koh Samui, Hua Hin, Koh Chang, Khao Lak and it goes on....everything relaxed and normal
