Centara Grand Mirage is now getting very popular indeed so is liekly to be very full during the busy times of the year.

We may give this a try but wondered about the cost of getting around in Pattaya. In Phuket it has costs us 200 baht for just a short journey, what will it costs us from the centara to get to the centre of Pattaya ?

Pattaya is way cheaper !

A trip on a songthaew ( baht bus / pick up bus ) costs just 10 Baht and they operate day and night along most popular routes. So for 2 of you that would be 2 x B 10 = 20 Baht !

That is like a bus service.

But if you want to charter a songthaew like a taxi then B 100, 150, 200 max, but you can get around easily for B 10 fares

Also the Pattaya Park Water Park is just B 100 ( about AU$ 3.30 ) for the day !

We spend 10 days with 2 kids in Centara in Pattaya in July and were satisfied with service completely. The hotel is new, staff is great, the landscape is picturesque as well as all facilities: pools, lazy river, jakuzzi, etc. I would surely come back!

the environment is good and relaxing.the service of the hotel is good and efficient too.what i like the most in that hotel is the pool area, its just beautiful and fun.i d say this hotel is suitable for family or retiree who wish to have a quieter environment for holidays, relaxing

Yes the transport was so much cheaper in Pattaya ! Made it so easy to get around and see a lot more

It gets heavily booked up at peak times because it is so popular, in particular over Christmas and New Year, also has lots of return visitors

It is always heavily booked up, I think you have to plan a long time in advance as very popular place
