If you are staying in pattaya it is quite easy to go down the coast and take the boat over to Koh samet, so you can mix a visit with avery busy resort area with a quiet island.

Yes you can ask any of the car drivers or you can ask the porters at your hotel, it is an easy journey

Koh Samet makes a nice trip from Pattaya for a few days on a nice island.

Nothing like Phuket at all !

Very quiet relaxed laid back island, very nice but don't xpect it to be busy like Phuket, it isn't
