There are plenty of very good rates on those websites suggested and some very low prices, I think the hotels need to fill their rooms for the high season

Bangkok Marriott Resort is probably the only city resort in Bangkok. Set amidst very lush tropical gardens, built in traditional Thai architecture and located directly on the riverfront, the hotel has every facilities business or familiers on leisure traveler could wish for.
