How you get to Phangan, can't find any airport, which is the nearest

Don't think so, the Thailand experts will tell you but I think it is Koh Samui

There is no airport on Koh Phangan, fly to Koh Samui and then ferry to Koh Phangan, it is very near

Yes just to confirm there is no airport, flights operate to Koh Samui and then you go to the pier for the ferry over to Koh Phangan

You need to fly to Koh Samui airport and then go on the boat to Koh Phangan

There is appratently a small airport being built but won't open until later next year

I read also about a new airport being built but I don't think it opens until later in 2013
