We also have 2 night in Hong Kong, it is worth paying a lot for one of the very nice hotels or should we make do with a cheaper hotel

There are many excellent 4 and 5 star hotels in Hong Kong, but they can be very expensive, I would go for something cheaper as you will probably be out and about most of the time.
I will try and add some suggestions for more affordable hotels in Hong Kong perhaps with rooms with a great view, the views are amazing.
