What is a good but reasonably cheap hotel in Georgetown Penang for a few nights, not thinking of staying at the beach. 3 star range, comfortable and clean but not expensive

You can also try the Bayview Georgetown or the Berjaya, the 1926 Hotel is nice if you want something with some history and charcter instead of a more modern hotel.

Grand Continental is about US$ 44 a night, that is about HK$ 358. The Berjaya Hotel is about US$ 55, HK$ 447 a night, there is a good choice,
Penang Hotels Discount Rates has a very good selection of Penang hotels including those in Georgetown plus reviews.

The E&O Hotel ( Eastern and Oriental ) is a lovely hotel to stay in Georgetown Penang

The cheap flights with budget airlines certainly make it cheaper to travel around in Asia

Cititel Hotel in Georgetown Penang is quite cheap if you want something clean and comfortable in Georgetown

There are plenty of cheap places to stay, but unless you want shopping it is better to stay at the beach

You can compare the Penang hotel and accommodation deals to find who offers the cheapest lowest hotel rates for hotels and see the reviews -
Compare hotel rates for Penang for all the popular and other places to stay and also read the hotel reviews
