I have read a lot of good reviews about the Sofitel in Hua Hin, it appears to be right in the busy main part of town but is it also on the beach or do you have to go across the road to get to the beach from the Sofitel ?

Updated 2012 this is now known as the Centara Grand Resort Hua Hin

Does anyone know if the pool villas at the Sofitel Hua Hin are now open, I think I read that the Sofitel Pool Villas would be finished last November but have the Pool Villas now been opend at the Sofitel Hua Hin.

I should know this, but we sent nearly all our time south of the town centre.

You can also compare the Hua Hin Sofitel with other Hua Hin Hotels and see the other reviews and rates and other information.
Promotion rates for 2009 are now available and some very good rates for January, February and March 2009 for the Sofitel Hua Hin.

The Sofitel Hua Hin is a resort hotel that backs onto the main part of town but the Sofitel Hua hin is also right on the beach.
There are no beach roads in Hua hin so at most places you step from your hotel or resort right onto the beach, this is one of the great benefits of Hua hin that so many fine hotels and resorts are right on the beach, there are also many places just a very short walk to the beach.
Sofitel Hua Hin and you can see all the photos on Sofitel Centara Hua Hin and you can also find the local rates.

Good rates available from now through the low season
