If we arrive late at night from a flight to Sydney Airport is it best to stay at one of the Sydney Airport hotels and then move to a hotel in central Sydney the next day or is it easy just to go into central Sydney and spend the night at the hotel there.

If you plan to spend a day or more in a hotel I Sydney then I would go straight to that hotel in Sydney from the airport, there is no point staying at a hotel near Sydney Airport and then going into Sydney in the morning, that means changing hotels, I would go straight to the hotel you plan to stay in Sydney.

The Mercure Hotel Sydney Airport is quite good value for money for an overnight stop at a Sydney Airport Hotel.

That is good advise, it makes sense, I think the Mercure hotel at Sydney Airport is quite okay for the price. Thank you rebecca for that information.

Do you have to book a hotel at Sydney Airport before you arrive or can you just arrange the hotel when you arrive at the airport.

If yuo arrive at the airport without a booking for an airport hotel then you are stuck, and would just have to hope one of them had a room available. if you are using an aiprort hotel it is probably because you are arriving laste at night or leaving on an early morning flgiht, so you really should book in advance, also to get cheap rates. Compared with other parts of the world this region is in fact not doing so bad for toursim compared with others. Good that airlines and hotelds are all offering good prices to attract visitors.

There are some very good bargains for cheap flights with Air Asia and the other budget airlines, Asiaoz and Beachsiam both have very good hotel deals at the moment so a cheap time to travel for a holiday
