Beaches near Bangkok
Hua Hin Thailand - 2.5 hrs by taxi or limo service from Bangkok or Bangkok Airport. 3 to 4 hours from bangkok to Hua Hin by train. 3hrs 15 minutes from Bangkok to Hua Hin by express bus
Cha Am is about 160 km / 100 miles south of Bangkok by road. Cha Am beaches include the main beach in central Cha Am and the Cha Am beaches around the beach hotels and beach resorts that stretch south from Cha Am towards Hua Hin
Jomtien Beach is located just beyond Pattaya. The beach road has resort hotels, high rise condominiums, restaurants and shops, plus the beach. This is a quieter although highly developed area to stay, within 2 hours by road from Bangkok, between 90 minutes and 2 hours from Bangkok Airport to your hotel or resort at Jomtien. There are many tourist attractions and activities in the area with lots to see and do. Water Park, sports including Golf Courses, classic Thai cultural show and more
Koh Samet Island is close to Bangkok if you travel by road, passing the Pattaya area towards Rayong. Koh Samet island is reached by boat from the mainland. Koh Samet is a quiet relaxing Island with a choice of accommodation from cheap and budget accommodation to luxury resort and spa level. | Bangkok itself does not have beaches, but there are several beach areas within an easy journey from Bangkok either by taxi, bus or to some destinations by train. Although it is relatively cheap to fly to beaches and islands some people want to spend a few days ( or longer ) at a beach close to Bangkok so they simply take a taxi from their Bangkok hotel and arrive straight at their beach resort. In some cases a boat or ferry ride is needed. Some of the best beaches near Bangkok that can beb reached by road are Bang Saen ( very quiet ), Pattaya ( very lively ), Jomtien Beach ( very busy but quieter than Pattaya ), beach resort area south of Pattaya. Onwards to Rayong and boats over to the Island and beaches of Koh Samet or continue down the coast to Trat for a ferry boat to Koh Chang Island beaches. |

Beaches near Bangkok with Golf Courses
There are Golf Courses near the beaches that are close to bangkok. There are Golf Courses near Pattaya and Jomtien beach and also golf courses around Cha Am and Hua Hin. Some of these Golf Courses also have resorts providing accommodation so you can also stay at or near the Golf Courses. |

Hua Hin is quieter, Pattaya is livelier, both have things to do but quite different in style. If you want lots to do then Pattaya makes for a good cheap and fun holiday _________________ We travel around Asia and Australia - searching for best travel deals |
