What are the best boutique hotels in Chiang Mai ? What about the Puripunn, is the Puripunn Chiang Mai worth it ?

You have a wide choice, the Puripunn, the Manathai and others, some are close to the centre whilst others are further from the busy central area of Chiang Mai.

You can also try some of the smaller luxury hotels in Chiang Mai like the Yaang Come Village and others.

You can get the local hotel prices from Chiang Mai Hotel Rates that has a good selection with locat Thai prices for those hotels.

Check with those websites as more hotels have opened so more accommodation available, also look for the low season rates that start from around April onwards.

Compared with other parts of the world this region is in fact not doing so bad for toursim compared with others. Good that airlines and hotelds are all offering good prices to attract visitors.

Many very nice hotels in Chiang Mai, Hotels in Chiang Mai have used, very good prices and also hotel reviews

The manathai looks very nice, I like boutique hotels but prefer them not to be 'too small' and the Manathai Chiang Mai has a swimming pool which is nice.
