Chiang Mai is very popular for Songkran Thai New Year in April, if you plan to visit Chiang Mai for Songkran it is best to book hotels and make your travel plans as early as you vcan because Songkran is one of the most popular and most popular times of the year for Chiang Mai Thailand and Chiang Mai and hotels are very busy for the Thai New Year celebrations.

Thai New Year Songkran Holiday dates for 2010 in Thailand

Sonkran Thai New Year in 2010 is Tuesday 13th April to Thursday 15th April, so in fact the entire week from Saturday 10th April to Sunday 18th April is going to be very busy at hotels and accommodations in Thailand as many people will make it into a whole week holiday so you should book well in advance
