We are very much set on going to Phuket but wonder how the datai and Langkawi in general would compare. Langkawi seems to be just that little bit too quiet.

Rates are still about the same so very good value for money and a nice place to stay

Some very cheap last minute special hotel promotions during November at rates almost as cheap as low season, worth looking for those bargains

Datai is a nice luxury honeymoon resort on Langkawi if you want something quiet. Langkawi is a nice island but much quieter by a long way than Phuket
