I'm not sure where Hawk felt I was calling him a "cock", I was merely pointing out that I drive a Lexus, and I am a dork, therefore Jeremy Clarkson is very observant....   Maybe it's because Hawk sounds like cock? |

I wasn't even gonna come back here to post, simply because I no longer think its worth it, but I finally came back today. I'll respond to this connor. The reason I thought that is for a few differant reasons, I'll explain.
[1] I was one of the first people who told you I would be interested in the pics, but you never responded to me. not in any of the threads.
[2] I even mailed you once, but you never mailed me back.
[3] In yet another thread I saw people talking about a shoot, that was the time you shot those nice pics of Docs car. I saw I'll call you, etc. That was kinda on the down low, as it seems most of the shoots are.
So maybe I was wrong, but I could only go by what I thought I was seeing. Maybe if you would of mailed me back on here, or said yea I'll shoot it sometime, then I wouldn't of thought that.
As far as the meets go.
[1] I'm not gonna drive to all of them when they are at areas plum on the other end of knoxville if I have to work that day. I get off work at 5:30PM. By the time I get home, take a shower, etc, what time can I get there. Will be like the steak and shake meet, people already ready to go. I was gonna come to the cars and coffee, that one you held, and the one at the brewery, but things keept comeing up.
[2] Friday, is a hard meet to go too, for a bunch of us. We should have meets on differant days, not just fridays. Doesn't matter though anyway. I start school soon, and I won't get to go at all then anyway. I'll most likely be at school for evenings on friday, and all day saturday.
[3] I actually have something to say for this box, but I won't.

Hawk, we all understand that it's often not worth the drive after work to Knoxville for certain events. That's why I've never made it to 411 dragstrip. It's a good 1 hour + drive from Oak Ridge, and I just don't feel like it after a 9+ hour day.
Like Conner said, he's more than willing to set something up. He's even willing to work around your schedule. But you seem not to notice this. Regarding what I'm going to assume is your private message to him, if he got it and didn't respond, it's on him. Otherwise it's a failure of the glorious man-made creation we call the internet. I have yet to have Conner take photos of my car because I have crap come up on the weekends.
Unfortunately, the days that are selected for meetings are taken by a vote of the majority; If this doesn't work for you, sorry. But rest assured, you aren't the only one. I've heard from more than one person that he/she can't do X day ever because they work. Or they have a random schedule where when they have X free, we don't meet. But when X is taken by work, we do meet. I can't remember the person, but this was an issue at the first meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings.
And for your third point, what else do you have to say? Seriously, we can address them here publicly or via PM if you wish. And it doesn't have to be with me, either.
