And my girlfriend just bought a brand new 2011 US market Sentra for $14k and could have driven to Mexico and bought this Mexican market Sentra for $4k USD...

I have never driven one but always heard they were great handling machines. Saw one rallied at RallyTN a few years ago.

I'm amazed they still make that body, too. Not a bad looking exterior.

I love simple old crapboxes, but these cars disappoint me every time I drive one. Whole < sum of the parts.

Yeah, I get excited about the torque number, but the Mac strut setup leaves a lot to be desired. Every other aspect of the Civic is better.

Suspension set up better yep but B13 91-94 was better than the civic s of that same period as for the complete experience IMO.

Motorsports will tell you both the EF and the EG Honda's are better performers.

I owned a 91 sentra E and a 97 Civic EX at the same time and when I chose one to drive for fun it was always the Sentra. I understand what all the experts said I just never agreed.
